Alert the account owner and SDR in Slack the minute a target account looks at your pricing page

Reported in Clay's case study: accounts first found through a website-visit signal win 50% more often (1.5x) than accounts that were not. Clay also filled 88% of the data gap left by Hex's previous provider. No time frame is given.
Pricing-page traffic from a target account is one of the clearest "call now" signals we get, and most teams still find out days later in a dashboard nobody opens.
Bryanna Clancy and Dorothy Huynh at Hex (in a Clay case study) watch their highest-intent pages (pricing, enterprise features, contact us) and enrich each visitor from a target company. When a target account visits, an alert goes to a public Slack channel tagging both the account owner and the SDR, with the account, how many sessions, which pages, an AI summary of what they seem interested in, and contacts with LinkedIn links. In one case an SDR called within minutes of the alert.

Run it before your 10am
- Pick your 3 highest-intent pages, such as pricing, enterprise and contact us.
- Only alert on accounts that fit your ICP, so the team trusts the channel.
- Send the alert to a shared Slack channel and tag both the owner and the SDR.
- Put the context in the alert: sessions, pages, a short AI summary of interest, and 2 or 3 contacts.
- Agree on a response time, for example a call or email the same hour.
- Tag deals that started from an alert and compare their win rate to the rest.
An account from our target list just visited our site. Account: [company]. Pages and times: [page list]. Sessions this week: [n]. Known contacts: [names, titles]. Write a Slack alert of 4 short lines: 1. Who visited and how often. 2. What they seem to care about, based only on the pages they read. 3. The 2 contacts to reach first and why. 4. A one-line opener for a call that does not mention we saw them on the site.
If you lead a team
- Start with one shared channel and a same-hour response rule.
- Review win rate of alert-sourced deals after one quarter.
Watch out for
- Vendor case study; Clay is selling visitor enrichment.
- Win rate for signal accounts is a comparison, not proof the alert caused the win.
- Never tell a prospect you saw them on your website. Use it to time the call, not as the opener.
- What I'd have my team try first: one shared Slack channel, pricing page only, ICP accounts only, and a same-hour response rule for a week.
