The resultas reported

Reported by monday.com's head of AI for GTM: average response time to inbound leads went from 24+ hours to under 2 minutes, and conversion to meeting improved 25%. The agent handles over 2,000 leads a month in 7+ markets.

Oran Akron's RevAI team at monday.com built Amanda, an agent that calls inbound leads, has a real conversation, qualifies them and books a meeting with the right rep. He started with one RevOps person and one developer, picked this use case partly because a recorded call would win over leadership, and gave the agent more leads only when it matched or beat the humans.

If you sell: check your own speed to lead today

  1. Measure your current speed to lead on inbound demo requests.
  2. Start small: one RevOps person and one developer on one inbound flow.
  3. Research each lead before the call and load that context into the voice agent.
  4. Split the work across smaller agents (intent, qualification, commercial questions, scheduling) instead of one big prompt.
  5. Connect it to the routing rules and live rep calendars so it books the right rep while the lead is on the phone.
  6. Give it a slice of leads, and grow the slice only when its results match or beat your reps. Review calls and KPIs every morning.
Copy-paste prompt · Our prompt (the source describes the agent, not its prompt)
You are [agent name], calling [lead name] from [company] seconds after they asked for a demo. Context: [what they filled in, company size, region, research notes].
Goals in order: 1) open with a light, friendly line and say you are an AI assistant, 2) confirm what they want to solve, 3) ask our qualification questions: [list], 4) if qualified, offer 2 times from [rep]'s calendar and book one, 5) if not, point them to [self-serve link].
Keep each turn under 2 sentences. If asked something you don't know, say a rep will follow up. Never make up pricing.

If you lead a team: roll it out

  1. Pilot on one region or one lead source first.
  2. Give the agent more leads only when its meeting rate matches your reps on the same slice.

Watch out for

  • monday.com built this in-house with a team of up to 10 people. Most teams will buy a voice agent tool instead.
  • Later write-ups (Clay's GTM Engineering newsletter, Oct 21, 2026) report about 1,500 meetings booked a month across all inbound agents. That covers more than this one agent.
  • Calendar routing and phone-number spam flags were the hard parts, not the voice itself.
